Artists in Fort Portal are not happy why the Kingdom chose a Kampala based

Event Company to host the local performances without consulting

Tooro and Fort Portal City dwellers especially local Event Planners.

According to One of the most Tooro event planners and Film Maker Nelon Amooti;

Such people like you are the reason our beautiful land is tainted and disrespected with impunity.

I usually don’t like making negative commentary but you cannot organise a Tooro event when you ain’t well versed with Tooro norms and all that Tooro is about and worse still not consulting or working with existing organizations that are at per with the needs and desires of the people of Tooro.

You would think Talent Africa Group is an expert event organizer but this shows you how long almost everything in Uganda has to go to be real and genuine.

It makes you question the motive behind all this.

It’s an abomination that people due to greed and self sought intentions are not ashamed with constant blocking and provocation of progress of the arts in this beautiful kingdom.

Some people endlessly claim to be representatives of the youth of Tooro but act contrary to real causes of the people when they smell the scent of money.

We try so hard to make this place great and greater.

Very many people are sacrificing their lives especially the artists to make Tooro grow while fulfilling the interests of the people but the rate at which the number of saboteurs from within is growing is so alarming and appalling.

If you cannot organise an event that fully represents the interests and wants of the people of Tooro, stay where you came from and leave us in peace.
