The owners of schools have been patiently waiting and waiting until the President has kept on adjusting and easing.

In Kampala alone, school facilities have been turned into business premises

Others have been turned into houses for rent and schools in that area are no more.

Others school facilities have been destroyed by heavy rains and winds due to overstay

Infact some structures have been made to sell food stuffs and restaurants

Simply because restaurants never were ordered to close during lockdown.

This not only affected school owners but also parents who had already paid school fees and immediately schools were ordered to close due to the 2nd phase.

Generally, the economy has been greatly affected due to different sector closures.

At some point border points closed, the airport iteself was closed. This in it was the biggest indicator of economic closure.

Economic downfall. You’d call this another World economic war like that of 1933.
