To participate in girl child initiatives to empower and ecourage girl child

The story of my life! Waking up this morning to receiving the best news this year that I have been selected to participate in the Miss Universe UAE got me shedding tears of Joy.

I had travelled to Uganda last week for my annual charity event focused on empowering and supporting the girl child and promoting education in Africa.

This charity outreach program usually lasts for 1 month but receiving this news simply means that I have to cut my trip short and be on the next available flight to the UAE in order to participate for the Casting & every other Miss Universe UAE scheduled events.

I ask myself, do I really have to spend so much buying an emergency ticket to return
back to UAE to participate for this event and pause my charity event?

I believe I need a platform to tell my story to the whole world about that poor girl from Africa who escaped violence in Uganda and traveled
to the UAE, a country rich in diversity and unimaginable opportunities to further her education.

I believe my story will give hope to every child undergoing challenges that there is light at the end of the
tunnel.

So, yes I am ready for this new journey to give hope to every girl child and be a voice for change.
